COLLEGE STATION — The Liberty Christian girls opened the TAPPS Division I playoffs with 47-27 victory over Houston St. Pius X on Friday.
Rebecca Hand scored 10 points for the Lady Warriors (23-14) and Hannah Hand added nine.
“Our kids played very hard defensively tonight,” Liberty Christian coach Ken Burroughs said. “I was very proud of our effort as a team.”
The Lady Warriors will play San Antonio Antonion at 1:30 p.m. today for the regional championship.
