PONDER — Ethan Easterling led the Ponder Lions at the plate and on the mound in an 11-6 victory over Fort Worth Calvary Christian on Tuesday night.
Easterling had a double and a triple at the plate, and though allowing six runs on seven hits, Easterling also picked up the pitching win.

CORINTH — The Lake Dallas Lady Falcons improved to 13-3 on the year with the shutout win over Denton.
Chrisa Head allowed only four hits to get the victory, while Amadi Taylor and Savannah Burkholter each had a double for Lake Dallas.
Natasha Kissel recorded the loss for Denton, allowing four runs on six hits.
Allie Shelton had a double for the Lady Broncos.

PILOT POINT – The Pilot Point Lady Bearcats used the long ball and the combined no-hit pitching effort of Skylar Cagle and Preslee Gallaway to roll to a 16-0 District 2-2A opening victory over Van Alstyne on Monday night.
Pilot Point (14-0-1, 1-0) got three-run homers from Cagle and Gallaway and a two-run shot from Allison Strittmatter to pace the 12-hit attack. Cagle went 4 for 4 and had four RBIs.
In combining for the no-hitter, Cagle worked the first four inning, striking out seven, before Gallaway fanned three in the fifth to complete the gem.
