Soccer roundup: Guyer girls stay unbeaten in district play

Guyer remained unbeaten in District 11-4A at 7-0 after defeating Trophy Club Nelson 2-1.

Hannah Alspach scored the Lady Wildcats’ first goal seven minute into the first half off of an assist from Kaitlyn Carro. About 13 minutes later, Carro scored off of a corner kick to give Guyer (17-1) a 2-0 lead.

Nelson scored its only goal 12 minutes into the second half.

Midfielder Gairy Natividad put up a strong defensive effort for Guyer (17-1).

TROPHY CLUB — Despite two goals from McKenna Cook and one from Sean Diamond, the Guyer Wildcats fell to District 11-4A rival Trophy Club Nelson.
