Football: Argyle DB commits to Kansas State

Argyle junior defensive back Connor Wilson orally committed to Kansas State, Eagles head coach Todd Rodgers confirmed on Sunday.

Wilson is the third Argyle recruit in the last eight days to orally commit to a Big 12 Conference program.

After Ian Sadler committed to Texas Tech on April 20, while junior linebacker Sam Sizelove committed to Kansas State on Saturday.

Wilson compiled 126 tackles, eight interceptions, four fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and five pass break-ups last season for the Eagles..

Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day a member of the class of 2014 can sign with a school is Feb. 5, 2014.
