FRISCO — Guyer grabbed a double-digit halftime lead and never let go Tuesday in a 66-55 win at Frisco Heritage.

The Wildcats (4-3) were led by Sean Choate and Miles Crawford, who each scored 14 points. Mitchell Willard added 10 points.

Guyer will play Lubbock at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lubbock Frenship tournament.

CALLISBURG — The Bearcats allowed more than six points in a quarter only once — 19 in the third — and held off Callisburg in the final frame to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Cory Powell led Pilot Point with 10 points, while Stephen Richter added eight and Josh Portal had seven.

The Bearcats will face Fort Worth Boswell at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Madill tournament.

AUBREY — Five players scored at least eight points and three were in double figures as the Chaparrals routed Bonham.

Cooper Turrubiarte scored a game-high 17 points to lead Aubrey (4-2), while Michael Page scored 14 and Bo Loftin added 13.

Aubrey will play at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the S&S Consolidated tournament in Sadler.

FRISCO — Ryan couldn’t keep up with Frisco Heritage’s high-scoring first half as the Lady Raiders (4-8) lost on the road.

LAKE DALLAS — Thanks to a strong second-half effort on defense in which they held Grand Prairie to just three points in the third quarter, the Lady Falcons were able to rally from a halftime deficit to earn the victory.

Amani Alston was the lone Lake Dallas player in double digits with 11 points.

The Lady Falcons (3-4) play Aubrey at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Aubrey tournament.

AUBREY — With a tie game heading into the fourth quarter, the Lady Chaps came up short in a home loss to Farmersville.

Kendyl Wright led all scorers with 16 points for Aubrey (6-5), while Scarlett Gregory added 11.

The Lady Chaps will play host to a weekend tournament beginning Thursday, when they play Lake Dallas at 2:30 p.m.
