LAKE WORTH — Brady Anderson scored all 11 of his points in the opening quarter to lead the Ponder boys to an easy 57-31 win over Stephenville in the Lake Worth tournament on Thursday.
Ponder (10-1) led 19-6 after the first period and cruised the rest of the way. Clay Morgan led Ponder with 19 points.
“We played pretty well,” Ponder coach Jude Stanley said. “Stephenville is missing some guys who are still playing football. We had a big first quarter.”
