ARGYLE — The Argyle girls held Carrollton Ranchview to just seven first-half points in a rout of the Lady Wolves on Friday.

Delaney Sain led the Lady Eagles (27-1, 5-0 District 10-3A) with 18 points, while Jesse Sheridan added 14.

The Lady Eagles play at Frisco Lone Star at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

ARGYLE — Thanks to a big halftime lead, the Eagles were able to hold off a furious second-half rally by Carrollton Ranchview for the district win.

J.C. Chalk scored a team-best 14 points for the Eagles (18-5, 3-1 District 10-3A), while Hunter Shoemake scored 12 and Joseph Clayton added 11.

Argyle plays at Frisco Lone Star at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
