Soccer roundup: Guyer absorbs first loss

LEWISVILLE — The Guyer girls suffered their first loss of the season, falling to Wylie East 2-1 in the Lewisville tournament.

Brittany Crabtree scored on an assist from Jasmine Heffley for the Lady Wildcats (8-1), who will face Plano East at 1 p.m. today.


Argyle 3, West Mesquite 0

Hannah Neece, Abbi Neece and Taylor Erwin each scored as the Argyle girls blanked West Mesquite on Friday.

On Thursday, the Lady Eagles defeated Sherman 4-0. Hannah Neece, Allyson Book, Erwin and Anna Dahms all scored a goal apiece.


Lake Dallas 2, Little Elm 0

LAKE DALLAS — The Lady Falcons shut out Little Elm behind goals from Haley Bortnem and Alexis Medina.

Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl was the keeper for Lake Dallas (9-2-1), which has earned shutouts in all nine of its victories this season.

The Lady Falcons play at Gainesville at 6 p.m. Monday.



Ryan 3, Denton 0

Fabian Zuniga scored two goals to lead the Raiders past the Broncos.

Ryan plays at Guyer, while Denton plays host to Wichita Falls, both starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
