GARLAND — Lake Dallas played four matches on the first day of the Garland tournament, winning a pair and losing in the other two.
The Lady Falcons lost to Rowlett (25-17, 25-19) and South Grand Prairie (20-25, 25-22, 25-23), but defeated South Garland (25-15, 25-15) and Garland (25-20, 16-25, 25-13).
Megan Turner netted 16 kills, 20 digs and three blocks on the day for Lake Dallas. Jennifer Chapman had 54 assists, Adrianna Nolly finished with 19 kills and Bailey Dolezalek added 30 assists.
The Lady Falcons play at 8 a.m. today against Rowlett.
Prosper d. Argyle
ARGYLE — Argyle lost to Prosper for the second time in as many days, 25-12, 25-16, 21-25, 25-17.
The Lady Eagles (2-3) fell to Prosper on Thursday in the Ryan Kick-Off Classic.
Alexa Bass tallied eight kills, 10 digs and 16 assists for the Lady Eagles.
Katy Keenan led Argyle with 12 kills in the loss, while Eighmy Dobbins had 11 kills and nine digs.
Argyle will play in the Kick-Off Classic again today.
Pilot Point d. Anna
PILOT POINT — The Pilot Point Lady Cats earned their first win of the season, defeating Anna 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-9.
Pilot Point’s MacKenzie David had team highs with eight kills and eight aces.
Carson Doughty claimed 29 digs, Natalie Larson had 13 digs and 13 assists, and Mercedez Lane added 12 assists for the Lady Cats.
Pilot Point will return to action in the Ryan Kick-Off Classic today.
