ARGYLE — Talk about snapping a losing streak. For the last six years, Fort Worth Nolan has been a giant thorn in Liberty Christian’s side. During that stretch, the Vikings — who have won three straight TAPPS state titles — not only won every meeting against the Warriors, but did so with relative ease. On Friday, the Warriors likely felt as if they made up for all those losses in one game while scoring 27 straight points en route to a dominating 47-7 win in the TAPPS DI-I opener at Warrior Stadium.
Guyer didn’t make things easy on itself in a pivotal District 5-6A match Tuesday night, but the Lady Wildcats made a statement by remaining unbeaten in district play and handing Trophy Club Nelson its first district loss.
