With the Van Alstyne Panthers blocking a punt with 1:37 remaining and scoring to draw within a point at 49-48 with just nine seconds left on a fourth-and-10 play, they decided to go for the win on the 2-point conversion after Pilot Point was tagged with an offsides penalty.
