CORINTH —  With Friday's three-set victory over Little Elm, the Lake Dallas Lady Falcons are now 3-0 in District 14-5A play — without dropping a set in any of those matches.
The Lady Falcons came out on top 25-19, 25-18, 25-15 on Friday night.

Kasey Bortnem led the Lady Falcons in assists with 27, while also having 18 digs. Bailey Dolezalek was also a key player for Lake Dallas with 14 kills and 16 digs.

The Lady Falcons will be on the road Tuesday at McKinney North.

Brock d. Aubrey

AUBREY —  The struggles continued for the  Aubrey Lady Chaparrals  as they suffered yet another defeat, this time to the Brock Lady Eagles, falling 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-7.

Even in a losing effort, Katherine Wright continued to put up solid numbers. Friday night, she racked up 24 assists for her offense.

Aubrey will travel to Gainesville Tuesday night.

Celina d. Sanger

CELINA — All four sets were decided by four points or less in Friday night's matchup between the Sanger Lady Indians and the Celina Lady Bobcats. Sanger put up a good fight but couldn't hang on, falling to Celina 25-22, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22.

A highly offensive battle for Sanger was led by Sydney Price, who had 14 kills, and Gabbi Roelofs, who had 10 kills.

Sanger will host Melissa on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Pilot Point d. S&S Consolidated

SADLER — Even though they dropped the first set, Pilot Point was able to take three straight against the Lady Rams and get its first district win, 25-27, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

The offense was very spread out for the Lady Bearcats, but Shelby Malone was a vital player with seven kills to go along with her 13 digs.

Pilot Point will take on Pottsboro at home Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Guyer d. Plano West

It wasn't an easy sweep, but the girls from Guyer fought hard and got the job done. The Lady Wildcats went on to defeat Plano West in three very close sets, 25-23, 25-23, 26-24.

Brooke Slusser did just a little bit of everything in Friday's matchup. She racked up 17 assists, 13 digs, five kills and two aces in what should be a memorable game for her.

Guyer travels to take on Allen at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
