Brock Berglund, 6-4, 215, QB, Kansas

Sat out last season after transferring to UNT … In high school, Berglund was ranked the third best player in Colorado and the 15th best dual-threat quarterback in the nation by ... Was a three-star recruit by and was named the Colorado 4A Player of the year as a senior and was a four-year starter … Led his team to consecutive state titles in his junior and senior seasons …As a senior, he threw for 2,150 yards, 23 touchdowns, completed 61 percent of his passes and threw only five interceptions … Averaged 7.3 yards per carry as he rushed for 952 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior... In the state title game victory, Berglund threw for 280 yards and ran for 122 … Threw for 2,226 yards and 30 touchdowns with only four interceptions.


Quenton Brown, 6-4, 235, TE, Eastern Arizona JC

Rated a three-star recruit by … Had 12 sacks and 45 tackles at Eastern Arizona … A WSFL All-Conference selection in 2011 … Began his career at UCF and was a redshirt in 2010.


Chad Davis, 5-10, 172, DB, Fort Bend Bush

Intercepted six passes last season and was named first-team All-District 23-5A … Rated a three-star recruit by … Ranked the 106th best player in Texas by after receiving three-stars and a scouting grade of 77. … ESPN ranked Davis as the 51st best cornerback in the nation... Ranked as one of Houston’s top-100 recruits by the Houston Chronicle … Dave Campbell’s Texas Football named Davis one of the top-25 defensive backs in the state … VYPE Magazine named Davis to the Greater Houston Area Top-100 … Had 42 tackles six interceptions and five passes broken up as a senior … A member of the 4x200 relay team that finished third in the state and had the nation’s fourth fastest time.


Sed Ellis, 6-3, 200, LB, Paris

Two-time all-district selection … As a senior, Ellis was named to the 15-3A first-team after racking up 45 tackles, 18 tackles for a loss, three sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … Named first team-all-district … A multi-sport star, Ellis ran a 21.60 200-meter dash and finished third at the regional track meet in 2012.


Zed Evans, 5-11, 173, DB, Louisville

Louisville graduate with one year of eligibility with UNT … Played in 12 games and made 13 tackles for the Sugar Bowl-winning Cardinals in 2012 … Appeared in 12 games, mainly on special teams in 2010.


James Jones, 5-11, 170, DB, Kilgore JC

Honorable mention NJCAA All-American honorable last season … First-team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference selection in 2012 after finishing with 69 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and three interceptions … In the Brazos Valley Bowl, Jones had a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown and had two punt returns for a touchdown during the year … Posted 71 tackles, three tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble in his first season at Kilgore.


Darvin Kidsy, 6-0, 175, WR, Fort Bend Elkins

Caught 33 passes for 669 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2012 … Averaged 20.2 yards a catch … Named first-team All-District 23-5A in 2012 … Averaged 32.9 yards on kickoff returns and 18 yards a return on punts … Ranked as one of Houston’s top-100 recruits by the Houston Chronicle.


Chris Loving, 6-4, 272, TE,  Blinn CC

Honorable mention All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference as a sophomore and had nine catches for 137 yards


Justin Manu, 6-5, 300, OL, Snow JC

First-team NJCAA All-American in 2012 … Started at offensive tackle for two seasons at Snow … Anchored an offensive line that finished in the nation’s top-10 in total offense and top-15 in rushing and passing in 2012 … Blocked for the nation’s leading rushing in Breon Allen who also led the nation in touchdowns last season.


Shawn McKinney, 6-4, 365, OL, Trinity Valley JC

Second-team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference player last season at center ... Second-team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference in 2011 at guard.


Calvin Minor, 6-3, 195, LB, Lewisville

Unanimous first-team District 5-5A selection as a senior … Posted 84 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack as a senior … A multi sports star, Minor was a member of the 4x400 relay team that advanced to the regional and state meet as a sophomore.


Sydrick Moore, 6-1, 267, DL, Van

Rated a three-star player by … Rated as the 106th best player in the Texas and the 47th best lineman by … Moore is a two-time all-state pick and two-time first-team all-district in 2011 and 2012 … Posted 102 tackles with 34 tackles for a loss, eight sacks and two forced fumbles in 2012 … AP Class 3A Honorable Mention All-State selection …District 15-3A Defensive MVP … The Longview News Journal selected Moore to the 2012 All-East Texas Football Team first-team defense in 2012 … named Moore to the Football Super Team first-team last season.


Cody Nelson, 6-5, 282, OL, Keller

A three-year starter on the offensive line, Nelson was rated a three-star recruit by and 247 … Helped pave the way for a 1,500-yard rusher, which was a school record, and helped set the single-game rushing record at 311 yards … Nelson was named the co-offensive MVP for the 2012 season.


Reggie Pegram, 5-9, 218, Running Back, Purdue

Sat out last season after transferring from Purdue … At Purdue as a sophomore, Pegram rushed for two touchdowns in the Little Caesar’s Bowl victory … Carried the ball five times for 24 yards in the win and had three catches for 20 yards ... For the season, Pegram had 109 yards rushing on 22 carries. Pegram appeared in all 12 games for Purdue as a reserve in 2010 and on special teams as a true freshman


John Schilleci, 6-0, 190, DB, Guyer

First-team all-district selection his senior season as he helped lead Guyer to the school’s first state championship … Posted 111 tackles in 2012, five tackles for a loss, eight passes broken up, one forced fumble and one safety.


Wylie Reinhardt, 6-4, 255, TE, Saginaw

Named first-team All-District 6-4A in 2012 … As a senior, moved to tight end and caught 10 passes for 105 yards … Named to second-team all-district as an offensive lineman as a junior.


Fred Scott, 5-11, 230, LB, Kennedale

First-team All-District 6-3A selection … Had 86 tackles his senior season to go along with nine tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles … Academic all-state selection in 2012.


Turner Smiley, 6-0, 175, WR, Frisco Wakeland

Caught 60 passes for 862 yards and 12 touchdowns last season … Tallied 13 total touchdowns for the year and averaged 14.4 yards a catch … Named first-team All-District 9-4A in 2012 … Posted 23 tackles and two interceptions on defense.


Harrison Sorge, 6-5, 300, OL, Wichita Falls Rider

Honorable mention AP class all-state selection his senior season … First-team District 5-4A selection his senior season … Named a first-team Class 4A player in 2012 by … Offensive MVP of the Wichita Falls Times Record News Red River 22 Large School team … Member of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s list of the state’s top-300 recruits for 2012.


Darius Terrell, 6-3, 220, WR, DeSoto, University of Texas

Sat out last season after transferring from Texas … In 2011, he played in nine games at Texas after redshirting in 2010. At DeSoto, was a Parade All-American and an AP first-team all-state selection as a senior in high school … A three-time first-team all-district pick and named Offensive MVP his senior year … Ranked as the 17th best tight end by and the second-best tight end by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.


Andrew Tucker, 6-0, 196, DB, TylerChapel Hill

Rated a three-star recruit by in 2011 … Dave Campbell’s Texas Football named Tucker one of the top-25 running backs in Texas in 2011 … He rushed for 1,088 yards and had 11 touchdowns as a senior in helping lead Chapel Hill to an undefeated season and the state championship … Averaged 8.7 yards a carry and also had 15 catches for 305 yards … Posted 113 tackles, 12 for loss, with two sacks and forced five fumbles as a junior.


Dominick Walker, 6-5, 280, OL, Fort Bend Austin

One of only three players to be a unanimous first-team All-District 23-5A selection in 2012 … Ranked as one of Houston’s top-100 recruits by the Houston Chronicle.


Dajon Williams, 6-3, 190, QB, Pflugerville Connally

Threw for 1,618 yards in 2012 and had 15 touchdown passes and only three interceptions in 2012 … A dual-threat QB, Williams ran for 508 yards and five touchdowns last season … Completed 106 of 196 passes for 1,977 yards and 25 touchdowns and ran for 357 yards and four touchdowns as a junior … Dave Campbell’s Texas Football named Williams as one of the top quarterbacks in the state and one of the top 300 recruits for the 2012 season.
