Soccer: UNT announces 2014 schedule

The North Texas soccer team announced its 2014 schedule on Friday.

The Mean Green will play host to Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Gonzaga and TCU, in addition to playing a full slate of league games in its second season in Conference USA.

UNT will open the season Aug. 22 at home against Texas Southern and will play its first C-USA game at home against Louisiana Tech on Sept. 26.

The Mean Green advanced to the final of the C-USA tournament last season and finished 14-7-1.
