Former North Texas safety Kishawn McClain has been selected to participate in the College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium.
The event will run Jan. 6-10 in Addison and will feature top college players who will participate in a series of practices, scrimmages and drills.
The players were selected by a panel of football experts. Scouts from the NFL and Canadian Football League are expected to attend.
McClain was included on the All-Star roster, which also included players from West Virginia, California, Arizona and several Conference USA schools.
McClain finished his college career with 336 tackles, a total that ranks seventh in UNT history. He intercepted seven passes and forced five fumbles in 51 career games.
McClain was a second-team All-C-USA selection as a junior and received honorable mention as a senior.
McClain helped lead UNT to back-to-back bowl appearances in his junior and senior seasons. The Mean Green fell to Troy in the New Orleans Bowl this season.
