With a standing-room-only crowd in attendance, the bulls came out the big winner Friday night in the second performance of the North Texas Fair and Rodeo Bull Blowout, as only a few of the cowboys were able to turn in qualifying scores.

Stephenville’s North Texas Fair veteran Bryce Barrios claimed the top spot with his score of 78 aboard No. 15. Another Stephenville bull rider, Jory Markiss, and Fort Worth’s Caleb Snyder split second and third place with their scores of 76.

In the second competition of the night, the cowboy protection bullfighting, teams of two bullfighters work to protect the bull rider once he is off the bull.

Team Miller Lite and Team Darr/Cat split first place with a total of 185.

Second place went to Team Boot Barn with their total of 183.

Splitting fourth was Team Rudy’s BBQ and Team RDL. Both teams had a total of 176 points.
