TWU coach Beth Jillson has wrapped up recruiting for the 2014-15 season with the signing of three players announced Wednesday.

Midland’s Kayla Beattie, Erin Maxwell of Cedar Hill and Emily Spector of Keller will join Morgan Easley and Jayzhia Softly, who previously signed with TWU, and 10 players returning from the 2013-14 team.

Beattie, a 5-foot-8 guard, graduated from Midland Classical Academy, where she was a four-time first-team all-district performer. She averaged 17.5 points per game during her high school career. Beattie led her team to the 2014 TAPPS Class 3A state championship and earned all-state honors the past two seasons.

Maxwell, a 6-3 center, is transferring from Abilene Christian after just one year with the Wildcats. Maxwell is a 2013 graduate of Dallas Ursuline and led its 2012 team to the TAPPS Class 5A title. At ACU, Maxwell appeared in 18 games, posting 2.2 points per game, 1.6 rebounds per game and 10 total blocks.

Spector, a 5-10 forward, is a Division I transfer from Northwestern State. She appeared in 33 games for the Demons, averaging 2.3 points. Spector is a 2013 graduate of Keller Timber Creek, where she was a three-time all-district performer and the team’s most valuable player in 2013.
