CALLISBURG - The Navo Middle School eighth-grade A-team volleyball squad took second place in the Callisburg middle school volleyball tournament over the weekend.
Led by the outstanding play of Amanda Alsabrook and Alex Summer, the Panthers were able to battle through bracket play to grab the second-place finish.
Aubrey Shaw and Jessica Tremblay also played vital roles for Navo while Elizabeth Holeburg had 10 kills. Phoebe Bahan had 15 digs, while Olivia Arrant and Justice Anderson led the team with assists.
