Denton Boys Baseball: White Sox remain unbeaten in 10U Grapefruit action

The White Sox used some stellar defensive plays, some aggressive base running and a strong relief pitching effort to edge the Tigers 7-6 Friday night and to remain undefeated in 10U Grapefruit league play.

Jeremiah Olson had a run-saving defensive play in the final inning while Brady Russell came on in relief and struck out two batters, including the final batter with the tying run at third base as the White Sox improved to 5-0 for the season.

Shea Flynn walked and scored a run while Liam Daly walked twice, stole a base and scored in the final inning to lead the White Sox.


12U Cactus

White Sox 10, Braves 4

Jacob Rasmussen, Timothy Brown, Alex O’Gorman, Anthony O’Gorman and Kristian Stolt had RBI hits as the White Sox rolled to a 10-4 victory over the Braves in 12U Cactus league action.

Starting pitcher Joseph Fritz picked up the pitching victory with relief help from Rasmussen as the White Sox improved to 3-0-1 for the season.
