White Sox 9, Angels 8

The White Sox scored five runs in their last at-bat and then used strong defensive play and relief pitching to record a come-from-behind victory over the Angels on Tuesday night.

The White Sox trailed 8-4 heading into the final inning and scored five runs to take the lead.

The Angels got their first two runners aboard in the bottom of the inning. But on an attempted double steal, catcher Brady Russell gunned a throw to third baseman Alan Cobble to get one out and then relief pitcher Bradly Rocha fanned the next two batters to secure the victory and improve to 10-1 on the season.

Rocha led the White Sox offense with two hits and two RBIs and scored a run, while Drew Hammett and Matthew Bedford had one hit apiece and scored twice.
