The Blue All-Stars of the 12U Grapefruit league completed a three-game rally with an 11-1 victory Tuesday night to win a playoff series against the Red All-Stars.

The Blue All-Stars trailed 2-0 in the best-of-five series before scoring two straight victories to avoid elimination and force Tuesday’s winner-take-all game.

Oscar Gonzalez got a complete-game victory for the Blue squad, limiting the Red team to one run on Michael Steward’s single that scored Isaac Santigo.

Dylan Bourey was the offensive star for the Blue team with a RBI triple in the second inning and a three-run double in the third to seal the victory. Nate Graham, Robert Auer and Noah Stone scored two runs apiece for the Blue All-Stars.

The Red All-Stars rallied after trailing 5-2 in the second inning to win a best-of-five playoff series 3-1.

The Red squad, powered by the hitting of Garrett Sawyer, Brandon Harrison and Max Scalf, overcame the three-run deficit by scoring five runs in the third, six in the fourth and one more in the fifth inning.

Sawyer went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, Harrison was 3-for-3 with a double and Scalf had two singles. Osvel Gonzales and Noah Hernando each had run-scoring hits.

Harrison picked up the victory. After a rocky start, he held the Blue All-Stars scoreless over the final three innings.
