The Guyer freshmen improved to 4-1 Tuesday with a 50-40 victory over Hurst L.D. Bell.
The Wildcats broke the game open in the second and third quarters, outscoring Bell 30-15 to take a 38-20 lead heading into the final period.
Preston Rush led Guyer with 15 points while JT Ashcraft had nine and Jakin Thorne added eight.

Gordon Hill and Erik Ramon led the way as Guyer evened its record at 3-3 with a double-digit win.
Hill scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Ramon had 13 points and three rebounds. Kason Kilgore had eight points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.
