Lauren Heard scored 24 points — and hit a shot from near midcourt to end the first half — to lead the Harpool Lady Longhorns to a 47-29 victory over the Crownover Lady Cowboys on Thursday night in eighth-grade A-team action.
Sydney Swann scored eight points and Anna Martin added six for Harpool (3-1). Morgan Lutes led the Lady Cowboys with seven points while Isabel Tovar and Sydney Meador had five apiece.
Harpool eighth-grade B 28, Crownover 10
The Harpool Lady Longhorns jumped out to a nine-point lead after the first quarter and cruised past Crownover.
Bailey Moss led the way for Harpool (2-2) with 11 points while Alexis Stoecker added eight and Jasmine Deckard seven. Mackenzie Sealy led Crownover with eight points.

Despite a very productive night from several McMath players, Lake Dallas rolled to an 11-point victory.
Lily Mansour had two 3-pointers to lead McMath with six points, while Taryn Johnson added five points and Mikayla Bowles and Ariel Jade-Townes had four apiece.
Navo eighth-grade A 28, Strickland 21
The Navo Lady Panthers outscored Strickland 8-2 in the third quarter to pull away.
Julia McKeathen led Navo (4-3) with 16 points, while Alexus Evans poured in four and Sydney Finch added three.
Navo eighth-grade B 32, Strickland 11
The Navo Lady Panthers jumped out to a 12-point first-quarter lead and coasted to a 21-point victory.
Samantha Simmons led the unbeaten Lady Tigers with 14 points while Nautica Ysasi added six.

The Harpool Lady Longhorns led by 12 after a 21-point first half on their way to victory.
Alexiss Benton led the Lady Longhorns (3-1) with 14 points while Sophia Martinez and Breyer Winder added eight apiece. Taylor Wallace led Crownover with nine points while Taylor Brann and Ashley Schroeder each had six.

Harpool pulled out to an eight-point lead after three quarters but had to withstand a Crownover rally in the fourth quarter.

Lake Dallas broke open a tight game in the second quarter.
Breanna Wofford led McMath with eight points, while Holly Higgs, Kate Cowan and Alyssa Williamson added four apiece. The Lady Tigers (2-2) received strong defensive play from Lucy Martin and Makenzie Sprabery.

Lake Dallas used a big first quarter to pull out to a six-point lead and maintained that advantage to defeat McMath.

Little Elm rallied from a four-point first-quarter deficit to take a one-point victory over the Calhoun Lady Cougars.

The Navo Lady Panthers opened up a 22-point first-half lead to stay perfect.
Taylor Pierce led Navo (4-0) with 11 points while Jami Means added 10.

Citlali Vasquez had 10 points, five assists and 13 steals to lead the Navo Lady Panthers past Strickland.
Alexis added six points for Navo (3-1), while Jaden Hoelker had 14 rebounds and Rachael Deramee pulled down nine boards.

The Strickland Lady Vikings held the Navo Lady Panthers scoreless in overtime.
Breeana White did all the scoring for Navo with 10 points and added eight rebounds, while Reagan Corley pulled down 14 rebounds.
Lake Dallas eighth-grade A 37, McMath 26
Lake Dallas opened up an eight-point halftime lead and cruised.
Wyatt Folsom led McMath with 11 points while Colt Atkinson added seven and Connor Cocchiarella five.
Lake Dallas won the eighth grade B-team game 24-23, and McMath won the C-team game 19-12.
Navo eighth-grade A 55, Strickland 30
Earnest Brown and RaMelo Lenoir were a two-man wrecking crew as they led the Navo Panthers to a 25-point victory over the Strickland Vikings.
Brown scored 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds while Lenoir had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Panthers (3-1).
Strickland seventh-grade A 33, Navo 25 (OT)
Strickland’s Nick Edwards grabbed an offensive rebound and scored and the Vikings held Navo scoreless in overtime.
Spencer Sanders led the Vikings (3-1) with 12 points while Trayvon Brockington added eight and Kosi Eldridge six.
Strickland seventh-grade B 17, Navo 16
The Strickland Vikings outscored Navo 9-2 in the final quarter to rally for a one-point victory.
Abraham Hernandez hit the game-tying shot and Patrick Berg hit a free throw to complete the Strickland rally. Hernandez led the Vikings (2-2) with eight points while Berg finished with six.

John Davenport hit the game-winning shot with 10 seconds left to lift the Strickland Vikings to their first win of the season.

Lake Dallas rallied from an early deficit and pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Tryus Johnson led McMath (2-2) with 27 points while Wilson Strange added 10.
Lake Dallas was a 22-7 winner in the B-team game and won the C-team game 14-5.
Little Elm seventh-grade C 31, Calhoun 10
Little Elm jumped out to a 19-4 first-half lead en route to its 21-point victory.
Phillip Torrey led Calhoun (1-3) with six points, pulled down three rebounds and had two steals. Eduardo Sigala added two points and four rebounds.
