Middle school volleyball: Lake Dallas sweeps past Myers; Crownover 8th-graders win two

The Lake Dallas eighth-grade A, B and C teams each defeated Myers on Thursday.

Lake Dallas A won 20-25, 26-24, 25-21; B won 25-7, 25-5; and C won 25-9, 25-11.

Lake Dallas seventh grade defeats Myers

Lake Dallas’ three seventh-grade teams each beat Myers.

Lake Dallas A rallied for a 22-25, 25-11, 25-21 win, while the B team swept 25-10, 25-20, and the C team won 21-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Crownover wins two eighth-grade matches

Crownover’s eighth-grade volleyball teams won two of their three matches over Little Elm.

Crownover A (2-0) won 25-8, 25-10, while C (1-1) won 25-17, 25-15.

Crownover’s B (0-2) team fell 25-13, 25-21.

The Crownover seventh-grade C team topped Little Elm 25-20, 25-19.

Crownover A lost 25-11, 25-13, and Crownover B fell 25-11, 25-23.

Argyle sweeps McMath

Argyle’s seventh-grade teams swept McMath.

The Lady Eagles won the A match 25-15, 25-14; the B match 25-10, 25-21; and the C match 25-20, 25-17.

Navo eighth grade gets two wins over Calhoun

Navo defeated Calhoun 25-19, 25-17.

For Navo (1-1), Jaci Sims had nine serving points, Sarah Grant had four kills and four assists, and Taylor Curtis had five digs.

In the B team match, Navo defeated Calhoun (0-2) 25-18, 25-15.

Jaden Hoelker recorded nine straight service points for the Lady Panthers (1-1). Rachel Deramee had two kills, and Mikayla Goodman had two assists.

Harpool seventh grade earns sweep of Strickland

All three of Harpool’s seventh-grade teams defeated Strickland.

The A team won 25-10, 25-11, as Alyssa Delloro had three aces with one dig and one kill for the Lady Longhorns (2-0).

The B team (2-0) got two aces from Delaney Apt and a kill from Callie Boyles to win 25-15, 25-23.

The C team (2-0) was led by Lauren Cashion’s 10 service points and Rebecca Mueller’s three aces for a 25-15, 21-25, 15-6 victory.
