Sub-varsity football: Flores rushes for 104 in shutout of Farmers

Andrew Flores had 104 rushing yards and scored one touchdown in leading the Ryan freshmen to a 22-0 win over Lewisville in an A-team game.

Flores got things rolling for the Raiders (5-2) with his 4-yard TD run, and J.D. DelaRosa kicked the extra point. Nick Watts followed with two 1-yard touchdown runs. DelaRosa capped the Ryan scoring with a 37-yard field goal.

Ryan’s Andrew Sanchez, Elijah Randall and Sherod Coleman caused fumbles, and Mario Caballero and Austin Shanks recovered fumbles.

Shemar Coleman had 83 yards rushing, and Watts had 31 yards on the ground and 67 yards passing. Alan Rojas had six catches for 43 yards, and Rodney Gladney had one catch for 24 yards.

Quarterback Paul Hunter scored a pair of touchdowns and threw for another as Ryan rolled Thursday night.

Hunter scored rushing touchdowns in the first and third quarter and hit Jordan Murray with a touchdown pass in the second quarter. Chron McCall scored Ryan’s final touchdown in the fourth quarter. Luis Estrada was good on all four PAT kicks.
