Middle school volleyball: Harpool sweeps Crownover

Harpool’s seventh-grade “A” team defeated Crownover 25-15, 25-11 on Thursday.

Harpool’s Isabel Solis had four kills with 12 aces and Alyssa Delloro tallied two digs and five aces.

Harpool (1-0) plays at Strickland at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, while Crownover (0-1) hosts Little Elm at 5:30.

Harpool seventh-grade C

Harpool swept Crownover 25-12, 25-21.

Rebecca Mueller had 14 service points to lead the Lady Longhorns (1-0).

Crownover eighth-grade A d. Harpool

Crownover topped Harpool in three sets, 25-14, 16-25, 25-23.

The match’s third set was tied at 23 before a Crownover tip and Harpool turnover ended the match.

Saylor Snowden had 18 service points, Caroline Orozco had 13 and Meredith Hill 11 for Harpool (0-1).

Harpool eighth-grade B

Harpool cruised by Crownover 25-8, 25-9.

Katie Kudrna (18 service points) and Gabby Perez (11) led the Lady Longhorns (1-0).

Harpool got past Crownover 25-12, 25-13.

Caroline Bell tallied 14 service points and Molly Krinner added 12 for Harpool (1-0). Alexis Benton had five assists.

McMath eighth-grade A

d. Strickland

Lucy Martin and Mackenzie Sprayberry led McMath (1-0) to a 21-25, 25-16, 25-18 win over Strickland (0-1).

In the B-team match, Strickland won 25-10, 25-21. In the C-team contest, Strickland prevailed 25-13, 23-25, 25-13.

Lakeside eighth-grade A

d. Navo

LITTLE ELM — Navo fell to Lakeside 25-19, 22-25, 28-26.

Navo’s Sarah Grant and Shelby Isbell each netted 15 service points. Taylor Pierce had three kills and Taylor Curtis had six digs.

Navo (0-1) hosts Calhoun at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
