Middle school volleyball: Harpool eighth-grade A team beats Argyle

Meredith Hill’s 21 points, including seven aces, helped lead Harpool eighth-grade A past Argyle 25-6, 25-21 on Thursday.

Caroline Orozco added seven points for Harpool (2-1).

Harpool eighth grade B beats Argyle

Harpool claimed a 25-27, 25-18, 15-8 win over Argyle.

Leading scorers for the Lady Longhorns (2-1) were Kailey Kidd (15 points), Katie Kudrna (13) and Lindsey Brent (10).


Argyle eighth grade C defeats Harpool

Despite 10 points from Presley Woods, Harpool lost its first match of the season, 25-21, 25-22.

Hallie Huysman had seven points and Molly Krinner had six.


McMath eighth grade A beats Strickland

McMath’s eighth-grade A team defeated Strickland 21-25, 25-16, 25-18 behind a good offensive showing from Lucy Martin and strong defense by Mackenzie Sprayberry.

Strickland B topped McMath 25-10, 25-21, and Strickland C won 25-13, 23-25, 25-13.

Crownover eighth grade sweeps Myers

Crownover’s eighth-grade A team beat Myers 25-9, 25-14. Crownover B won 25-12, 25-11, and Crownover C won 25-9, 25-15.

Crownover seventh grade wins two of three

The Crownover seventh A team defeated Myers 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, while the C team won 25-20, 14-25, 15-13. Myers B topped Crownover 25-18, 17-25, 15-8.

Lake Dallas eighth grade defeats Navo

Lake Dallas’ eighth-grade A and B teams defeated Navo 25-14, 25-6, and 25-11, 25-19, respectively.

Navo seventh grade A beats Lake Dallas

Britton Hartzell had seven hits and Grace Alexander added four as Navo seventh-grade A beat Lake Dallas 25-11, 25-21.
