Middle school volleyball: Harpool eight-graders sweep Little Elm

Harpool’s eighth-grade A team completed a sweep of Little Elm 25-11, 25-15 on Thursday.

Breyer Winder had 12 points for Harpool (6-1), including five aces. Caroline Orozco and Meredith Hill each had four kills.

The Lady Longhorns will face Meyers as the No. 2 seed in next week’s district tournament.

Harpool 8th B d. Little Elm

Harpool’s B team swept Little Elm 25-21, 25-13 to complete an undefeated season.

Katie Kudrna tallied 12 points for the Lady Longhorns (7-0), which included five kills. Maddy Holder added four kills.

Harpool 8th C d. Little Elm

Hallie Huysmans’ 15 points helped lead Harpool C to a 25-23, 25-21 victory over Little Elm.

Kennedy Troy had 11 points and Presley Woods added eight for Harpool (5-1), which finishes the season tied for first place in the district.

Navo 8th B d. Strickland

Jaden Hoelker had six kills and one block for Navo eighth-grade B in a 25-23, 5-25, 15-7 win to close out the season.

Rachel Deramee had two aces for the Lady Panthers (3-4). Lexie Dains, Sam Brandt, Deramee and Mikayla Goodman each had one kill.

Strickland finishes its season 4-4.
