Middle school volleyball: Robinson leads Navo Lady Panthers past Harpool

Kaedon Robinson had nine kills and eight points to help the Navo Lady Panthers remain unbeaten at 4-0 and to a 25-17, 25-17 sweep of the Harpool Lady Longhorns in eighth grade A-team action Thursday night.

Taya Svec finished with 15 assists and six points while Tori Ross had seven points, Lexie Fields had five and Reagan Nash added four kills.

McMath 'A' d. Lake Dallas

Rosie Du, Landry Wilkins and Abby Folsom led the way as the McMath Lady Tigers rallied to defeat Lake Dallas 26-24, 16-25, 15-12.

Du had five kills and five assists, Wilkins had five kills and Folsom had four kills and eight assists as the Lady Tigers remained unbeaten at 4-0.

McMath 'B' d. Lake Dallas

The Lady Tigers used the strong defensive efforts of Kayley Robison, Kalyn Cardona and Megan Fleitman to rally for a 14-25, 25-17, 15-8 victory against Lake Dallas.

Robison finished with three digs, two aces, one assist and one kill, Cardona had two kills and one block and Feeitman had three assists and two aces.

McMath 'C' d. Lake Dallas

Scarlett Johnson had five assists and five aces, Nadia Brown added three kills and Megan Gray had two kills as McMath defeated Lake Dallas 25-7, 25-8.

Crownover 'A' d. Rodriguez

Behind the strong service game of Alexis Headrick, the Crownover Lady Cowboys rolled to a 25-8, 25-2 sweep against the Rodriguez Lady Vipers.

Headrick totalled 20 straight service points while Maggie Walsh and London Hunt shared the lead in kills as the Lady Cowboys improved to 3-1.

Crownover 'B' d. Rodriguez

Crownover (3-1) got strong play from Sydney Cannon, Lauren McGrew and Kate Wentworth as the Lady Cowboys rolled to a 25-12, 25-11 win against Rodriguez.

Myers 'A' d. Little Elm

The Myers Lady Titans (3-1) had to rally from a first set loss to defeat Little Elm 19-25, 25-8, 25-22.

Aspen Benedict led the way with five aces, four digs, two assists and one kill while Valerie Benge had one ace, two digs and two blocks, Taylie Fenner had two kills, two aces, one dig and two blocks, and Aniyah Johnson had two blocks, one assist, one dig and two kills.

Crownover 'A' d. Rodriguez

Emily Johnson's strong service game helped lead the Lady Cowboys to  25-8, 25-5 sweep of the  Rodriguez Lady Vipers.

Kyndal Stowers, Kaylie Morgan and Lauren Schneider also turned in strong performances, and Crownover remained unbeaten at 4-0.

Crownover 'B' d. Rodriguez

Crownover (2-2) got eight service points from Thya Pitts in its 25-8, 25-19 victory against Rodriguez.

Crownover 'C' d. Rodriguez

Teagan Tillson and Lauren Sutton provided strong service games, and Caylee Clark had solid play throughout to help the Lady Cowboys (3-1) to a  25-17, 25-14 sweep of Rodriguez.

Strickland 'A' d. Calhoun

Williow Ingram, Makayla Whitby and E'Leigha Harrington each had strong service games in Calhoun's 25-21, 25-23 loss to Strickland.

Strickland also won the B-team game against Calhoun 25-8, 25-14 and defeated Calhoun in the C-team game 27-25, 20-25, 15-3. 

Strickland did not submit a game report.

McMath 'A' d. Lake Dallas

Katelyn Thomas had nine kills, three aces, one dig and one assist to lead the McMath Lady Tigers to a  25-15, 25-13 victory against Lake Dallas.

Brooke Stewart had five assists and two aces, Maycee Watson had four aces, Cadence Serna had three and Eleanor Tucker had two as McMath improved to 3-1.

McMath 'B' d. Lake Dallas

Landry Hill (three), McKenna Cathcart (three), Maggie Wainscott (two) and Elaina Pharr (two) combined for 10 aces as the Lady Tigers defeated Lake Dallas  26-24, 25-18 for their first victory of the season.

McMath 'C' d. Lake Dallas

With Lena Rodriguez and Jenna Towles producing strong service games, McMath knocked off Lake Dallas 25-22, 19-25, 15-11.

Harpool 'A' d. Navo

The Harpool Lady Longhorns improved their record to 3-1 with a 25-9, 25-21 victory against the Navo Lady Panthers.

Olivia Wood led Harpool with four aces, Hailey Christmas had three aces, Anna Woodfin had two aces, Hayden Brock had one ace and two digs and Kylie Freeman had one kill.

Navo 'B' d. Harpool

The Navo Lady Panthers rallied from a first set loss to defeated Harpool 18-25, 25-17, 15-5.

Samantha Raney had three aces, Rachel Anderson, Ashlyn Mohair and Aubrie Benton had one ace each for Harpool.

Navo did not submit a report.

Harpool 'C' d. Navo

Alivia Christensen had three aces and 17 service points and Hailey Jones had two aces and 12 service points as Harpool (3-1) defeated Navo 25-4, 25-15.
