Middle school volleyball: McMath wraps up perfect regular season

The McMath Lady Tigers eighth grade A-team wrapped up their perfect regular season on Wednesday night with a dominating 25-7, 25-12 victory against Little Elm in middle school volleyball action.

The Lady Tigers are 8-0 heading into season ending district tournament.

Kylie Williams led McMath with nine kills and eight aces while Abby Folsom had six kills.

In the B-team game, Little Elm defeated McMath 25-18, 19-25, 15-12, and Little Elm also won the C-team match, 25-15, 25-15.

Crownover 'A' d. Myers

The Crownover Lady Cowboys wrapped up the regular season with a 7-1 record after  a 25-16, 25-23 sweep.

Maggie Walsh led the Lady Cowboys in serving and kills while Delani Smith was a standout on defense with her digs and passing.

Crownover 'B' d. Myers

The Lady Cowboys rallied after a first set loss to win the next two sets and the match, 16-25, 25-23, 18-16.

Kyndall Knotts dominated the service game for Crownover (6-2) while Bre Jackson was the top defender for the Lady Cowboys.

Crownover 'C' d. Myers

Kennedy Born recorded 13 straight service points for the Lady Cowboys in their 25-11, 18-25, 15-9 win.

Anaiyah Tarrant led Crownover's (6-0) defensive effort.

Seventh grade
McMath 'A' d. Little Elm

Katelyn Thomas had nine aces, three digs and seven kills to lead the Lady Tigers to a 25-23, 25-23 sweep.

Brooke Stewart had seven assists, one kill and three aces, and Cadence Serna and Sarah Woods played solid defense as McMath ran its record to 7-1.

Little Elm won the B-team match 25-10, 25-8 and also won the C-team match 25-12, 25-11.

Crownover 'A' d. Myers

Led by the strong service game of Syndey Summers and Kyndal Stowers, Crownover rolled 25-12, 25-19 to finish the regular season at 8-0.

Crownover 'B' d. Myers

Crownover battled back after splitting the first two sets for a 25-13, 23-25, 15-6 victory.

Melrose Bangura and Tehya Washington-Pitts led the Lady Cowboys (5-3) in serving.

Crownover 'C' d. Myers

Teagan Tilson's 17 service points in the first set and Alexis Carter's 12 points in the second set led the Lady Cowboys to a 25-6, 25-8 sweep.

Jada George led the Crownover (5-3) defensive effort.

Harpool 'A' d. Calhoun

Anna Woodfin had three aces and five kills, Kylie Freeman had four fills and Hayden Brock had two kills for the Harpool Lady Longhorns (5-3) in their 25-22, 25-15 win.

Mollie Mayfield, Willow Ingram and E'Leigha Harrington were the top servers for Calhoun (1-8).

Harpool 'B' d. Calhoun

Macy Elston, Mallory Jones and Katherine King each had aces as the Lady Longhorns (5-3) rolled, 25-16, 25-17.

Gia McKenna, Leah Leon and Se'Dreal Jacobs were standouts for the Lady Cougars (3-6).

Harpool 'C' d. Calhoun

The Lady Longhorns wrapped up the regular season with a 25-7, 25-9 sweep to finish with an 8-1 record.

Hannah Sydow, Paige Luzader, Alivia Christensen, Brenna Stell and Summer Shuster each had one ace, Daisy Hatfield had two hits and Brandy DeLeon had one kills for Harpool.
